sexworkerproblems:

YOU MEET A GREAT CLIENT WHO EXPRESSES INTEREST, BUT YOU HAVE TO KEEP THEM A CLIENT: NOTHING MORE.

In a weird way, this also happens to teachers. Some of the students see you as a friend but you need to keep your distance. They confide in you but you can’t confide in them. They trust you but you can’t trust them at the same level. And overall, it could be eventually damaging to your career if you were friends with a teenager or a child — some people would find it skeevy.
