As you all know, I am taking my year 6s to Barcelona on Monday. It’s gonna be me and two more teachers. I am in charge of the photos… and the first aid kit. My boss isn’t coming but she’s still the one who organised the trip from scratch, and she told me I need to carry this at all times with me. My face when she said it.

Like, we are going to a farm near Barcelona. We are not going to the jungle. The children are going to be seeing pigs and cows and rabbits and horses. We’ll skip and play catch. We’ll speak Spanish. And I need to carry this around the facilities? I looked at her like, this won’t be necessary. Fortunately, my boss is a very smart woman and she caught my hint: “well, perhaps you won’t need to carry it around the farm… I mean, I’m sure they have a first aid kit”. Why yes, Boss, yes. So we agreed I’ll put it inside my backpack and carry it during our visit to the city of Barcelona.

I can’t wait to go back, Barcelona is one of my favourite cities!
